Boost gauge location

I'm starting to think about installing the Jaeger vacuum/boost gauge I was gifted by my wife. I'd like to see any other installs to determine where to drill. If you have any dimensions or detailed pictures please post them. I've got some bits in the way such as a turn signal toggle switch I'll need to deal with.
Thanks

Dave:
Let me know if you would like a close-up and/or some measurements. This is my 1949 TC "hot rod" (built by Gene Gillam). Missing some normal fittings on the dash, so there was a lot of room to work with. Vacuum/Boost gauge is on the far right.

Most people add gauges on the right of the tachometer, It's probably the best aesthetic choice even though it may be partially blocked by the steering wheel. I have a temperature gauge in that location. You can fit two gauges there without crowding if desired.

Thanks for the replies. My lack of flexibility is making it hard to get under the dash. Just feeling through the speedo hole I find a lot of thick bracing and just a little area of thin dash. There is also the speedo lighting fixture in the way. Steve, do you have any measurements of where your gauge is located? Spacing off the side of the speedo and up from the bottom of the dash would be helpful.
Thanks, Dave

Dave:
You may have to remove the dash to make sure that there is enough clearance (or make another hole) in the inner dash.

FWIW, my original TA dash plywood has a crudely cut hole apparently for adding another gauge to the right of the steering wheel.

However, it never had a gauge installed there. The walnut dashboard never got a hole cut there.
I'm guessing the factory provided a hole in the backing plywood in case a customer wanted a gauge there.

I'm not saying mine is in the best possible place, but there is 2" between the tach and the temp gauge, and about 2 1/4" from the bottom of the dash to the gauge.

Hi Steve, thanks for the dimensions. Mine ended up being in almost the same place. Avoiding my turn signal switch, relay and flasher left me little options. As I expected its fairly well obscured by the steering wheel. As it's really just a novelty item and not engine safety it probably doesn't matter. Looks nice though.
