MG T-ABC

Hello All,
New member here in Kittery, Maine USA. Recently purchased TC 4428, originally sold new in South Africa then exported to USA with several other European cars. Dismantled 16 years ago, so you probably know what I'm starting with.
Have evidence it may have been red/red, is there any way to confirm?
Also have November 1962 MGB project for sale and I mean rockers and floor project for $2500.

Ralph - it's a decent car, and should be up and running easily. What is your goal - a driver, a show car, a nicely restored car?

No way to confirm its early color, other than looking in nooks and crannies for old paint fragments. See if it has been listed/registered with the MG people in the UK.

It's the nooks and crannies that tell me red and the upholstery tan over red that confirms my thoughts.
I know this one was sold and registered in South Africa, but haven't heard back from them yet. Have asked if the car club badge that is still with the car can be identified?
Goal? A nicely restored show car that I can drive. How's that? I want to do this one right. As I did with my 63 MGB, I'd like to think I did a respectful restoration.
Listed/registered with UK people mean MG Car Club? One of 241 sold new in SA.

Looks like you may have my color combination.

I'm not sure exactly what red my car is, but I like it. The color may not be original but it's in the spirit of a book most of us have read. It reads, "“It was red, fire-engine red."
