I just received the following from Dan Harmer, owner of Nessie, his 1948 MG TC. Dan assisted (and tried to discourage me) in my purchase of my 1948 TC several years ago. We will both be at British Car Day this year and hope to see a lot of other TC's there as well.

Breaking News! MG TC has been selected as "Featured Marque" for the 2016 San Diego British Car Day (http://sandiegobritishcarday.org/), October 9, 2016. Plenty of time to get the ol' T-Cup ready to show. For those of you not in the San Diego area, remember October is a wonderful time to visit San Diego - heck anytime is a wonderful time to visit San Diego.

We would love to have been there, but that weekend we (and many of the other TCs in the area) will be in San Luis Obispo celebrating the 60th annual conclave of the TC Motoring GUild and Abingdon Rough Riders. It's unfortunate the organizers of the show didn't know this was going on that weekend. The majority of the active TCs in California belong to these two clubs!
