A number of years ago a company called British Wire Wheel in Santa Cruz restored the wire wheels on my TC. Apparently they are no longer in business. After 24 years they are still in great shape.

I now need the wheel on my TA restored. Who does the same quality restoration today?

The closest shops to you that I know of are Valley Wire Wheel and Pico Wire Wheel. Both are near North Hollywood. If you're interested in doing your own, the TC Motoring Guild is talking about possibly doing a tech session on this subject in the near future.

Before you spend good money on restoring a used wire wheel, you might want to consider buying NEW wheels. I can supply new TC wire wheels., rolled rim, 48 spoke, silver painted, for 175.48 GBP + shipping direct to your door. A used wire wheel will have some spline wear and rust under the rim and hubs were the spokes are mounted. By the time you sand blast a used wheel, replace a few spokes, straighten and re-paint, you will be well on the way to the price of a new wire wheel. The new wheel will out last all of us!
