TA fuel Tank outlet

Post by Mike Armstrong » Thu Nov 03, 2016 8:49 am

Please would someone remind me into which hole on the underside of the TA petrol tank the reservoir line goes.
Thanks. Mike TA, Lisburn N.Ireland

Mine was on the outlet nearer the centre but the important thing is to connect the reserve to the outlet with the filter. The main goes to the pipe which is a couple of gallons above the bottom of the tank, they can be seen with difficulty using a torch through the filler.

Huh? In the TA there is a reserve, is there on the TC (that I am restoring)? I only have one fuel line to the carbs.

I have two holes on the bottom of the tank. One I assume is a plug and one for the filter/feed line. Does it matter what hole is used for each?
Thanks, pat

Yes the TA has a selector on the dash - it does mean that you don't need the extra copper pipe from the tank or the changeover valve - you get the low fuel warning instead.
