I was thinking of marketing a new type of car-mounted camera for making driving videos. Here's the prototype on my MGA. What do you think, is it too big?

No! not at all. You would have to have jolly deep pockets to have one of them, bit like a GoPro I suppose!!
What's the spec on something like that please? We sometimes use a very old 35mm Panaflex to produce multi-holographic image shots (without the sync sound).

Hi Richard, it's a Sony F65. Shoots in 1080 or 4K. The transmitters are for video and remotely controlled focus, iris and zoom. Here's a closer photo...

So Steve, is this what you recently were sprucing up Linda's MGA for? New windscreen as I recall. I was surprised you were replacing it with only a couple chips in it, but after seeing this camera, it looks like it could focus in on a speck of dust on the windscreen. So what show, movie or ad will this be in?

Right Steve, I can now see it in the middle there. The F65, this is the newish one I understand exceeds the performance of 35mm cine and might even out perform the human eye!! Is it really that good? Just amazing. How do you store that amout of data on a remote? The toys you young chaps get to play with! Is this 'work'? MGAs and this sort of kit,

David, yes this is why I was fixing a few nagging items on the car recently. The DP was worried that the chip in the old windscreen would show up so I replaced it. The production is a new Showtime series. It isn't on the air yet.

Richard, although this is my profession, on this production I'm only supplying the car. I'm not on the crew. I haven't worked with the F65 yet but it sure looks nice. Recording was being done on-board. The audio and video was only being transmitted for the director and others on the chase vehicle behind.
