Hello Folks,
I had a chance encounter with an interesting yard sale of a sort tucked in the west side of Ohio. Anyway, long story short, they have an Alfa 1600 spider and a MGA (both are in very bad shape really) for sale on the cheap. They were talking about hauling both off to the crusher soon, but I said that I would surely try to find a better offer for the cars than that.
The Alfa is fairly far gone, but has some nice parts to it, and two engines, two transmissions, an extra hood, two windscreens, and extra doors.
The MGA has a fiberglass nose instead of the original, doors, some good glass left, one engine in fairly rough shape, and the usual smattering of bits and pieces associated with it. The four fenders were in dry-ish storage and look... save-able?
Just an honest assessment. I have no vested interest in this, but I wanted to do a good turn I guess and see if anyone out there in the crazy car-collecting world was interested.

Too bad they aren't closer. Don't let him scrap them, he can put an ad on car sites and someone will pay more than scrap value.

I think I have managed to find a place in the world for both, at least it looks that way.
And it wasn't becoming skillets to be sold at walmart, either
