I would dearly love to reunite our TB chassis and body with a TB engine.
If anyone has a TB block (24001 casting) or even whole engine please do let me know.
Kind regards
Rob

Re: TB Engine or block WANTED
Hi Rob, I'm afraid you'll b extremely lucky to find anyone who has one at all, nevermind trying to get if off them! They will come at a premium for sure as so few were made and there would be a queue for to join!
Welcome to the forum by the way; would be great if you could up your profile a little so we can see who you are and where
May I ask why youre so determined to find one when there are good alternatives?

Re: TB Engine or block WANTED
Thanks for the reply Chris. I will update my profile but it’s my Dad’s Hampshire (UK) based TB Tickford. It has been a labour of love of my Dad for something like 55 years! He bought it in pieces and it is only now pretty much finished.
Dad has been absolutely fastidious about every other aspect of the restoration - to the extent of obsessive. That is one of the contributing reasons it has taken so long! It just doesn’t feel right to let the block be different given the context.
It currently has a factory replacement engine in it which dad always knew but on closer inspection this weekend it is clearly a much later block.
I understand I just missed out on one here in the UK so I remain hopeful none the less.
