Re: more TC 6905
Hi I am new to the forum, I have a 1955 TF 1500 and a 1949 TC.
My first question is I am about to fully restore the TC, from the ground up and I will supercharge the TC when I get that far. What supercharger would you recommend and why?
My final question is, should there be a gap between the running boards and the rear wings? If so what is the dimension.

Hi as mentioned in earlier posts, I am about to start a TC restoration. I noticed you have a supercharger fitted, and it is my intention to do the same. Two questions, does the supercharger make A REAL DIFFERENCE, secondly which make of supercharger would you recommend?

I bought mine 2 years ago with the Shorrock super charger fitted in the early "50's . The charger is what sparked my interest. I had to refit it properly., design and fabricate a tensioner , remove 1 belt and have 2 new alloy pullys turned. These littles engines start with about 54 hp . They say the charger adds maybe 20. Others that have converted from 2 SU's have told me the biggest dif is on hills . Moss make a modern super charger conversion kit with everything you need. Good Luck , These little cars are great .

P.S. About the running boards : Mine is factory. the gap varys 1/2" +- . beautiful lines contour with the rear fenders, for water run off. You will get plenty of feed back from more knowlegable than me .
