I just purchased 1949 MG TC (XPAG 7788) Any History would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking for a few parts: battery box cover, Dash board inset. Thanks,

I believe I have a battery box cover surplus to my needs. Where are you located before I agree to sell and ship?

From Conn. It may fit in a USPS flat rate box. I will have to check.

Let me see how much shipping will be and let you know what I can do. I have a pretty busy week so it may not be till Friday to I get a chance to locate the cover and weight it. I will let you know.

Sorry, postage from CT to CA will be too much. Hopefully you can find one on the west coast.

Do you know about the British T-Type site--
www.ttypes.org ? It has a database that also has no info on your car, except it was made on February 1st or 2nd, 1949.

You should consider joining the Abingdon Rough Riders. They are based in the Bay area and have been an active TC and earlier club since the 1950's. Good people and lots of experience with TCs. We (TC Motoring Guild) meet with the Rough Riders once per year along the central coast, in the Fall. Next year will be our 60th annual meeting!
