Re: Build date
John James' website, (ttypes.org/ttt2/) has a T type database. It puts your car at 8/9 September 1949. There are no surviving factory records.

Re: Build date
Does anyone know if that date gives month first or date first, i.e., 06-09-1949 could be June 9th, 1949 or 6 Sept 1949. Aren't the British a 180 degrees out from the USA when giving dates?

Re: Build date
Yes, it should translate to the 6th of September.
Re: Build date
Gene, it is the USA who are 180degrees out. After all our way goes from the smallest to the largest, day/month/year which is surely the logical way to do it?
