How do I get the wiper motor off?

Post by pleask » Fri Nov 21, 2014 3:46 pm

Perhaps a silly question... but I don't want to force/break anything so thought I'd ask first!

I got this far (see pic attached) removing the wiper motor and can not seem to get the rest of the bolts out of the windshield rail… any suggestions please?

Also, I assume (?) that the glass goes in after the bolts for the wiper motor are in place or does the wiper motor go in afterwards? Does the glass get notched out?

Thanks, Pat

You'll have to cut them off if you can't release the nuts. Doug Pelton has the replacement parts in his mounting kit. The glass is notched for the bolts and the motor is attached after the windscreen is reassembled and back on the car. You might find these attachments useful.
