Does anyone have a picture of the way the trim surrounds the front striker plates - usually not a picture that's taken often in any detail and door is usually closed. I know there is a cut out for the striker plate and the striker is not covered with the trim but is there suppose to be " a small skirt of rexine , large enough to blank off the opening made by the side trim and over which the striker plate is screwed" to quote Michael Sherrell in his book. I reead this but I am not sure how to accomplish it and what it is suppose to look like finished.
Thank you, James Lee
