Where does this go

Post by jddevel » Thu Nov 19, 2020 10:05 am

OK so months ago dismantled the TC down to bare bones and now starting to reassemple. But inspite of numerous photos and labelled storage in separate containers this item escapes me. However this was in the container for the nearside front brake drum but can't see where it should go.Any help appreciated.Incidently it does not appear in the Moss scematics under brakes as far as I can see.

I don't recognize it as TC, but it does resemble a wheel cylinder boot, hand brake mechanism boot, clutch fork boot, etc. Could have been aftermarket, or maybe TD or similar?

Doesn`t seem to relate to a steering boot PLUS I should have indicated the size. 1 and 1/4ins (22mm) maximum width and 2 and 1/8th ins (55mm ) long. Will have to look at the idea of slave cylinder boot as it was in the brake drum container. Thanks for the suggestions.

Looks like a boot to go around a high beam switch for some other car.
