For Sale TC NORS AMCO Convertible top kit

This is a new NORS Convertible Top kit that came with my 1949 MG TC. It has been in dry storage and never installed. It is black/black with a very nice clear rear plastic 9" x24" window. It comes with the front bow cover and extra binding for those who like to bind the front edge of the top. Bottom side is a little dirty from storage. $200 plus actual Priority Mail shipping.

I had one of those tops for years. While not original, the vinyl is durable and the giant rear window gives much better visibility than the original tops. Good design for a driver, if you can stand to depart from the original look and feel.

may I ask what 'NORS AMCO' is please? Having had a TC in my life for 29 years now I've never heard of this ... I presume its an American parts company?

The NORS stands for "New Old Replacement Stock" indicating that it was not made by the original manufacturer of the car, but nevertheless "New". Compared to "NOS" New Old Stock made by the original parts manufacturer. AMCO was a company which made replacement parts.
