Chrome strip down centre of TC bonnet

Post by Roger Fountain » Mon Nov 08, 2021 1:32 am

I am in the final stages of restoring my 1948 TC and am having great difficulty obtaining the chrome strip which covers the centre hinge on the top of the bonnet. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one? I am in the UK.

Thanks, Roger Fountain

I believe it is the same one that Morgan uses, check the length to see if it is long enough. Should be many sources for that in the UK.

I know all the usual suspects are listing it on back order but Vintage car parts may be able to supply. It will need trimming to length.

I don't know what the Octagon one is, but surely the originals were Stainless Steel?

That's correct. I am hoping mine will just polish up.
