NOW... CYLINDER HEAD BROKEN.

Post by JUANRAF » Fri Jun 03, 2022 6:30 am

Hi,

I tightening the screws of the pedestal... the screw broke the wall of the cylinder head and the water reaches the rocker arms.
Does anyone have a stock in good condition for sale??

Sorry to hear about that. I've never seen that happen before. I have a head that has never been skimmed and is an excellent condition, except it has a few small cracks around the valve seat. My machine shop says it can be fixed. I would sell it for $50. You can see photos of it here:

I also have another head that has been heavily skimmed and had the port dividers removed, probably for racing or performance road use.
