Horn switch removal

Hi all, I plan on swapping out my horn/dip switch and would like to do so in the least invasive way possible. Anybody know if I remove the dash screws whether I’ll be able to pull the dash back far enough to get access to the horn switch? Any advice gratefully received.

I just did a dash “ease out”.
Others may know of an easier way, but I had to free up (undo restraining clips etc.) the oil pressure feed pipe, the starter pull cable, the choke cable and the slow running cable.
The dash plate could then slowly eased out enough in my case to get to the back of the ignition/lighting switch.
Not a difficult job but caution & care were required in abundance.

If you are agile & a seat is out, then you could lay on your back in the cockpit, shuffle forward & get to the back of the dash without removing it.

It's been a while since I had to pull the dash, but I seem to recall it was easier to release the entire dash than just the center part. Once all the screws were out I had enough room to get to the back of things. But it might be even easier to just crawl underneath if you're limber enough.
