I've seen early Midget / Sprite seats installed, and some others. Anything can work but they have to be fairly narrow to fit in the space allotted.

I`m in the process of repairing the existing but do feel that if I can get more room it will make life easier getting in and out-especially for my wife who has had a replacement knee which does restrict movement.

The seats on my TA were the ancestral home of multiple generations of mice.
So I purchased a pair of seats from Steve Baker.
He showed pictures variations of his seats in his TB so I was able to choose the style that suited me.
He then sent color swabs so that our in-house color consultants (my wife & daughter) could be assured that all would be ok.
I’m sure there are “budget options” but sometimes it is best to go for a top quality solution.
Pictures below.
