MG-T Marathon VI dash plaque

I found this dash plaque amongst my things and wonder if anyone can provide information on the event. Thanks in advance.

Well, it's a 1000 mile plaque for driving a T-Series or earlier to one of the GoF events in 1973, probably GoF Central. Although the letters match, it's the wrong logo for Vintage MG (a big California club who often sponsors GoF West). I suppose it's possible that the plaque was made by someone in VMG for members of a caravan to the event. Or maybe there is (or was) another VMG club elsewhere.
