carbon spark plug wires

Post by dezwartj » Fri Jul 07, 2023 3:02 pm

I need to get my blown TC to a garage with a "rolling road" to set it up properly. They asked me to change the copper core spark plug wires to carbon core wires as to not create problem with there electronic equipment. How does one mount carbon core sparkplug wires into the distribution cap? The same way as we do the copper core wires?(pull carbon core wire trough a washer and screw the nut?)

I'm pretty sure I've done that before but it was ages ago.

I slid on the nut, attached a push on terminal and soldered a circular piece of shim stock to the push on terminal.
