Post by jddevel » Sun Apr 20, 2025 6:53 am

As part of my upgrading of my TF1500 I`m thinking of replacing the carbs question is is there any value in the existing pair?

If they're original ones with the early flange (2 holes not 4) then definitely. Those are hard to find.

Steve, By flange holes are you referring to the piston bowel/dash pot? Mine have three. My TC 1 1/4 has two.

I could be mixing up my carb bodies but I seem to remember the TF had a set with two horizontal holes like the H2, and then later was the four holes like on MGA which are a much more common type.
