TC Fender piping/welting colours (or not)

TC's Forever made it very clear the piping between tub and fenders is to be the colour of the car, not the colour of the interior (contrast).

I painted my car Clipper blue, and of course piping from FTFU does not come in this blue. I have some tan, to match my interior which is of course not correct, but what's a guy to do? Thoughts/suggestions please.

I went to an auto paint store and they mixed a flexible match to my paint which I sprayed the piping with.
