Just thought I'd point out that for technical reasons Steve created a new account for me and I am consequently listed as the "newest member". I have actually been a member for quite a few years.

Yes, the "newest member" on the main page is just the most recent to register on the new discussion forum. Since we get a few new accounts daily, a new name should appear there shortly.
