Ordered the cover to go over the cables and really disappointed in the quality of the part.
I had to do the metal finishing as it was only Tig welded and left like that :x :x
Can not even send back as the shipping will cost the same as the part :P

Next pic shows my Bull Horn Brkt fitted and my side screen box now completed.

QUESTION.. What size and how many hinges are fitted on the side screen box lid? :? :?

Sorry for all the questions, buy I tackle a new part of the project as soon as I get stuck one one and then they seem to all come to completion on the same day.

Thanks for the info.

Any body with a loose one lying around that can post some sizes.

Very simple part to draw up and have lazer cut.

Some picks of that area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Dirk

Got a pic of what I was looking for.

again...was looking for routing of battery earth cable and spotted on the side the cover.

So now I know what side is top and what side is inside.

Anybody got me a photo of their steering column bellows from this angle?

Are these 2 holes not used?

Might not be 100% according to the original, but it fits my car and is more that she had when I got her.

Only had silver Hi-Heat paint. So for now it will have to do.

Any specific reason it has to be a box? Why not just the little heat shiled inbetween the exhaust and the master cylinder?

Found a lot on how to rout the Pos cable from the battery to the starter. From battery trough the bottom RH side of the battery box, into the cockpit and then through the firewall to the starter motor.

What I do not find is the routing of the negative cable. There is no hole in the battery on the Lh side.

Any help?

You must really know the book very well to know where to find it.

Is this the hole they are referring to?

My car, when I got it, had no grommets and the earth cable followed the Pos cable and was bolted directly to the engine.

today is the day for the new floors. Was hoping for a break in the weather so I can take the ply board outsideand do as much as possible of the cutting outside, but still raining on and off. At least I have the template done.

Very different from the template I found on the net.

Any tips or tricks that can be shared.

The template shows a cur out right at the back against the diff cover?? :?

Does the floor board go under the diff ramp or against it?

Floor is in. :D
Just a concern, How is a person suppose to get the gearbox bolts out later when the floor is in or do I have to open up these cut outs to allow me to get the bolts out?
I have planned it that way, but then the rubber gearbox cover does not cover the cut outs.

Surely you do not have to take out the floor to get the gearbox out?

Brian Lee has been kind enough to send me picks with measurements of the seats.

Yesssss :x I do not have seats either for my car.

So trying to recreate these master pieces.

Anybody with better sketches?

This is basically what the template looks like based on the dimensions supplied.

Does it look right? :?
