how to repair a damaged break master cylinder

i have posted some problems here before, in the future i will post all in this thread.
Today i get a refurbished speedo from an english TD owner
some pictures to explain the problem
the screws are unfortunately different as you see,
i don t know what kind of thread they are,
i will try to designe and print a adapter, i want to refurbish my old speedo so i don t want to change the cable

i put a shrinking tube above so it is now about 4mm and it fits into the speedo but the nut doesn t fit too

so someone has a good idea

designed with freecad, but i am a beginner with it
it will take a time
but i am confident

i have learned a little bit
designe a screew inside and outside,
tommorow i will print it,
it is easy now to change the pitch and dimension ;.-)
it is not possible to upload a fcsscd file, so how want ot see it mail me

three parts doesn t fit but the 4. fits perfect,
so another problem solved.

if somebody needs a part like this mail me, part or stl

3D printer kept this 1914 Delage on the road too.

4th picture is M18 x 1,5
both threads are typical thread types used on Instruments - Jaeger - Smith - VDO and more..............

@ tc9800 help my printer ist ot small , it seems i need a better printer ;-)
The part i printed fits perfect ..installed yesterday.

the replica Tacho and speedo should look like the original , also from behind

I'm crazy,
a vintage car with a super modern instrument
which looks like an old one when the ignition is off
and in operation very modern with all INformation you need
so i need a semitransparent Glass with painted needles on it
when light beind you cann see all the information you want

i see this here:

the dimensions are still not ok
i have no original tacho here, but i will get some more information next days ..

i only want to show what may be possible
i have used freecad and 3d first some month ago

Spedo and tacho nearly the same, i heard, i will get some diameter next days ...
here with the strengthening

so now it is designed parametric so changes are easy

my smart roadster coupe has plastic at nearly every part
a lot of parts a realy expensive, i have the money but i don t like to pay 120 Euro for a part what should have a price of 20
my wife has damaged a roller blind at the window
you have to buy a new one
so i take freecad spent a lot of hours to learn a little bit an than print my first part for my wife
now my wife knows the adventage

I ordered yesterday

first i had a little problem with petg, but now it works perfekt.

so perhaps on thursday i will print the part and show a picture here.

i have to wait 2 days for the developer to make the first step of the speedometer dial
exciting

when you have the part designed with freecad or so you can change the diameter etc really easy

so start, for simple parts it is easy
i can show it per teamviewer some day

i had some little problems with the new PETG
but now i am confident it will go
for all never seen a 3D Printer tool,
here you have to manage the printing
temperature speed and how to place it on the printer table
here it is place on the back, so i will get a good printing at the top
we will see

so
after 3 times with damaged prints, the dark gold petg was very difficult to print
i take grey to print, i know the material
and it works a you see.
the maschine inside is a replica so it is higher as the original
i got some picturres, but it was to late to tak the original measurment
but it works
i will paint it later, firt i have to do the dial

Her teh print in gold metallic,
it was really difficult to print , i take 260 Temp but seems not enough
a crack 1 cm to the top, i prepare it with epoxy
the petg can be sanded well and paintet later like this here
it is good enough for me in the moment
it will fit in the original ring but the hooks are missing
somebody has cracked them

so i learn freecad and incscape with this projekt
i learn to print different PLA PETG so on
now photo etching and electroplate will come

so next step was today to design the new Old style dials
the original will come into the golden box at home ;-)

it s a vektor grafik
so i can change all easyly
dome with inkscape
a little bit tricky in the beginning, never done before

so i have to change the font on the speedo so it is the same

Morning Franz,
attached a picture of a original speedo calibrated in KM.
Also you can spot the distance of Odometer to Tripteller - this is on Chronometric speedo much
wider than on your Magnetic speedo,

I have taken the distances from the old dial, if it is not quite accurate, no matter, you can read badly from the driver's seat
at the moment i have a battle with the gold PETG
alos i wait for overhead film to print the dial
so some time
good weather today, i think a take the car to go around, just for fun

the autum is so fantastic that i have no time to work on the dials
i took the car and go around 8)
i had problems printing the case so i build a case for the printer to hold it warm inside,
and now the part i print is perfect, all parts for the next steps are here,
a little project in the garden and it will go on here
the case now is for my replica tacho, but i can change all of it....

after a lot of problems printing PETG i build a case for my cr-10 printer
and now it works perfect
now the case has now mistake
it is designed parametric, so i can change measermet easy.
this case i use with the speedo i get with the car, it is a old replica without trip counter.
the new replica is a little bit smaller.
the next step now will be expose and etching
i will do it the first time, so problems will be normal
with a little bit luck it will go

next step, winter comes so the car will stand still some month.
steering is not perfect in the moment , dials not ready in the moment, and oil pressure is still to low,
now i am at zandvoort for holiday, wonderful weather and time to read about MG T
so i find this here:

my oil pressure gauge is although at the top and not on the normal position on the bottom
"The correct feed should come from the bottom banjo fitting of the gallery to cylinder head pipe. In my installation the gauge feed was at the top banjo fitting ,at the cylinder head. After changing this feed to the bottom union, the oil pressure immediately increased to 70 psi.! 70 psi seemed too high so I removed the two washers from the relief spring. The pressure now reads 50 psi warm at speed. This reading is close to ideal, thus concern solved. The bottom line is: there was nothing wrong with the oil pump, however the location of the feed to the gauge is critical. Carl Phillips."
so i will change first the line to the bottom, the round bajo is at the bottom, so i made a speical tool to open it, it is in my cellar now for some weeks ;-)
this would be easy ...
the engine was overhaul perhaps in 1980, perfect, so i think they hac´ve dome the oil pump too, in the last 40 years the car has 3 old owners, driven not to much.

so i will read some more about steering, and hope to find good explanation,
Carl D. has sent me some links, so i will read first this one
