For my TC Q Special race car restoration.
I like the style of the new 52mm fuel gauge from Smith. I have 4 gauges for the dash in the same size/style. I hate the 80's style plastic needle and would like to find something like the needle shown on the oil press gauge.
Smith (Caerbont Mfg) was no help. Does anyone know of someone who might be able to help supply/install a better looking (in period style) needle for these gauges?
Thanks.

Franz, your English is fine.... better than my German.
I think I may have found a solution. I'm going to find clock hands that look right.
I have done etching and silvering. It's quite fussy and a challenge, by very rewarding when it works.
