tc window pockets
I just sent off to another member the used window assemblies that I took off my 49 TC EXU. The lower flaps of the window units have pockets in them, with snaps. Was this the standard for the original units, whch I think these are. The car was bought from an original owner. Dick Warren

Nope Dick, original side curtains did not have pockets in them. Lower section of the front curtains had a 1/8" wire frame sewn inside to help with rigidity of the panel.

Re: tc window pockets
When I purchased my TC, it came with a new (1982 mfg date) Robbins top, a Robbins full Tonneau, and a set of 4 Robbins side curtains.
The side curtains did not have the wire stiffening frames, and I had a local auto trimming shop remove the frames from the old (possibly original) side curtains, and install them in the Robbins curtains. I'm happy with the results.
