Regarding the Member List / Gallery

Hi folks, first let me explain a bit about the lists themselves. The old TABC web site had a Member's Gallery, and a Member List. These two were independent of one another. The new forum also has a member list. I plan to merge these three lists into one but it will take some time. For now, here is a brief rundown of what they are...

• - The "Gallery" on the old TABC site was for member-submitted photos and info, so it did not list everyone. Just those who chose to send their info.
  
  - The "List" on the old site was a complete listing of all members, text-only. Whenever a new member signed up, they were added to the list (it took two people to maintain the list!) You could sort the list by name or chassis number.
  
  - The new forum also contains a list of people who have signed up. It is automatically updated as members register so it will always be current. With this list you can search out and contact other members by email, private message, etc.

Those three items have all been brought together in one place called "Member List". You can view the master page it by clicking on "Member List" in the top menu. You can also shortcut to the forum member list by clicking "Members" at the top of the forum area.

Even being together in one area, having three lists isn't ideal. And manually maintaining the two old lists can be a lot of work and prone to errors. So eventually I plan to combine them all into a single, comprehensive list of people and cars. This is a big project to tackle however so it may take a bit of time to accomplish.

For now, I hope this gives everyone an idea of how the member info works!
