Tool recognition

Any one recognise these "tools" retrieved from a relatives garage.

I would add that the item in the "packet" states something to do with armature compresser.

looks to be some sort of spring compression tool, perhaps suspension spring compression?

The brass item on the right looks like a lubrication tool, probably grease, or perhaps a metering valve of some sort. If the cap on the side ha a hole then I'd guess valve. If it's solid, I'd guess grease. The center tools are definitely a compressor of some sort but pretty small. I can't think of what one could use them for, and unless we know what industry they were designed for it may be impossible to figure out. On the left, no idea! But if the instructions say something about "armature compressor" then perhaps they are to hold electric motor brushes away from the commutator during service? Just guessing here, and I don't think I'm right.

The centre tools are coil spring compressors for vehicle springs as Chris suggests. Not sure if they are homemade but you can buy the exact same items from most tool shops in the UK.

They look like coil spring compressors, but what size are they? To me these tools all look tiny. Like 6" or so. If so, then they can't be for suspension. Maybe post a measurement or a photo of something for size comparison?

The item on the left looks like a starter motor bendix spring compressor..................would be easier to identify if you took it out of the packet.
