how do you add info to your profile?

I have just joined and can't find where and how to add content to my profile.

Norm,

Look up in the upper side side...you'll see "User Control Panel". Click on it and it should take you to a page with a box on the left hand side where you can edit your profile, add your avatar (small photo) and generally set up the forum to your liking.

OK, I got most of it but don't see a place to paste in a picture

User Control Panel-->Edit Profile-->Edit Avatar

Images should be no more than 90 pixels wide (or tall) and under 25k in file size. If you need assistance with resizing the image feel free to either email it to me, or attach it here and I'll grab it.

I had to spend a bit of time to re-size my avatar photo, both to get it to 90 pixels square, and under 25 Kb, but when you do that, it uploads nicely.

Actually it doesn't have to be square, just no more than 90 px in either direction. That's just so it will fit. Resizing avatars automatically is one thing I haven't been able to add to the forum.
