Looking for a TA project (Update: Found one, thanks!)

Post by craig.cootsona » Tue Feb 04, 2014 7:02 am

Hello all,
I recently completed a 1500-hour restoration on a badly rusted MGA and apparently that wasn't enough so I'd like to locate an MGTA TB or TC to restore. I'm not afraid to fabricate so a rusty basket-case or even incomplete chassis is preferred, as I would like to make some modifications and don't want to ruin an original car. Please let me know if you are willing to sell one or know someone who has one.

Safety Fast!
Craig

I'm located in Tacoma, WA but can travel if the project seems like a good fit. As I thought more about this project, I realized that I would really prefer a badly deteriorated car or even bare chassis. I would like to use an XPAG engine and cycle type wings for this project and don't want to destroy an original car. I can piece together the things I need rather than ruin an original car's history to make this project.

Cheers,
Craig

Update: I've found one. Thanks to all for your references! After I clean up the chassis I'll post pictures.
