Issues with new Moss brake shoes

Post by LaVerne Downey » Wed Feb 26, 2014 1:16 pm

No problems on the front. The rear is another story. The back side of the spring peg stand proud of the shoe steel by quite a bit and will not allow the e brake bracket to slide by. Looks like I have to grind it down to make it work. crap. :x

I helped to design that shoe by test fitting it on my car and reporting back any fitment issues. The final product they sent me for testing was perfect, and an exact replacement for an original set on front or rear. I'm not sure why you are having issues but I would be interested to see a photo of the problem.

Here is a set of the shoes during testing on my own car. Note the hand brake mechanism fits properly.
