I'm a bit confused, the colour I wish to paint my TC shown on page 73 of the "TCs Forever" book listed as Clipper Blue. But when I research it on the internet the colour I find is nothing like in the book, not even close, even when I consider the fact it is being shown on a computer, and not ones own eyes.
The Clipper Blue I find on the internet is much like this http://www.britishcarlinks.com/1950_MG_TD_blue.jpg
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated on what is really in the TCs Forever book.
Thanks, Pat

Re: What is the real Clipper Blue?
Photos are hard to go by since most cameras are set to automatic mode, and each monitor is calibrated differently. Color balance and brightness will vary tremendously.
The best I can do is point you to this page which show photos of an original, unrestored Clipper Blue TC. It has been owned by the gentleman since new, so rest assured it is 100% factory original paint.

Having seen the car in person, the most accurate photo on my computer's monitor is the one taken from the rear.

Thanks Steve, I had a look at the link you sent and it's hard to argue with original paint! And as I said in my post I understand what you see, be it books or computer screen, is not always what is real. But there is such a difference between the real Clipper Blue on Don's car to the TC's Forever picture on page 73. Pat
