Old pictures of TC0845

Post by Kallend » Mon May 04, 2015 12:07 pm

Going over some old 35mm slides, I found these of TC0845 when she was still my everyday car back in the '60s and '70s.

Great photos, professor! Of course the B-17 is familiar but the airfield is not. Your camp site seems to be out west, but where? I've long fantasized about a camping trip to Prince Edward Island with my wife and 7794.

ps - Just noted the fine print regarding locations. An organized tour or a solo venture?

That's lovely, same colour as mine, black with red trim. Well it will be when I'm finished.

Thanks for making an old man happy. I'm normally what we call over heer a "grumpy old man". My grandson doesn't call me "grand pa" I'm "Grumpy".

Norman, you should be the happiest man around these days, you have just created your own TC " basket case" and lots of surprises and happy moments waiting for you on your way to built up a good looking TC! Forget about the problems, they are everywhere; not only in the rebuild business!
Good luck and Keep Smiling- Grumpy:-)

Ha! I lived in Flossmoor (Dartmouth Rd) until last year. My four sons went to H-F.

The trip to Skye was a solo venture. I used to live 4 miles from Duxford in the '70s. Emigrated in 1978, shipped the TC over in 1981.
