I am in the process of rebuilding the engine on my 1948 MGTC and I've got bad threads for the wrist pin clamp bolt in the small end of the #3 connecting rod. The bad rod without the bearing installed , including the cap and bolts weighs 623.6 grams.
Would anyone have a spare rod that could help me out that you would be willing to sell? If not, does anyone have an idea about how this could be successfully repaired?
Thank you.

Let me know if you have no luck; I have a dozen or so rods I can check.
