I ve recently purchased a restored MG TC. I'm a memeber of the Vintage Car Club of NZ Inc ~Waikato Branch & M,G, Car Club ~ "Team Waikato". The car is on the T register and was restored by Bill de Malmanche who purchased off the previous owner when the car was still in pieces. It had been stored in a crate for nearly thirty years having left Western Australia & travelled around the world with the owner Dianne Rubery (nee) & Husband (Jensen) who worked for a shipping company. The engine was reconditioned by Dianne & friends prior to meeting her husband in WA, the gauges & some other items done in the UK whilst she was living there. Various owners have/can be traced back to the mid/ early 60's by the registar of the MG TC Owners Club of WA.
