My wife Lori and I bought TC9806 in September, 1987. We drove the car for club events for several years. Because of the general deterioration of the car as well as the number of changes that had been made over the years, we decided to undertake a total body off restoration. That restoration and reconstruction proceeded with two goals in mind. First, have a car that could be used for club events, shows, and general touring that would show the car as it was produced. Second, with not too much work change it over to a vintage race car to showcase the racing heritage of the TC..

The final result is a car really does have a dual personality (alter ego?).
